65 gr. double F BP. 3/4" square of waxed paper on top of charge then 16 gr. of cow. and seat a lee 340 gr. .460 dia. hollow base lubed bullet. Shoots very well, but stinks and a pain to clean.

It's a Black Powder weapon.
I use 75 grns 1F + cotton or kapok filler + wad with a 490 grn Lee bullet.
Big boom, lots of lovely smoke - the way it oughta be !

Martini Henry dies & brass
Lee sells dies for both Martini Henry 577/450" & Snider Enfield .577".
In the States brass is available from Dixie Gun Works & Buffalo Arms & probably others.

Do not buy lathe turned brass.
It goes in, but won't come out again.
Also, lathe turned brass for my 43 Spanish, won't even go in !
