A couple No.4 small parts I can't seem to find
Could one of you fine gentlemen please point me in the direction of first the pin that holds the front sight base on and second the small pointed pin that goes in the rear sight pivot pin?
I don't know if I was looking for the wrong thing or that no one caries these.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I looked in Springfield Sporters a couple times last night. I must have been half asleep. Thanks

I never knew an Armourer who used or even indented to Ordnance for the PIN, retaining pin axis backsight. A small nail, clipped to length with your snips was all it took.

Sounds rough and ready just as a wild colonial would do it. HAPPY NEW YEAR

I've got a fresh bag of new front sight base pins here. The little axis pin retainer is made exactly the way Peter says.
