Variations of the US Military Stevens 520 shotgun
Lately, I have been itching to get a US Military Stevens 520 Shotgun / Trench gun and I've been keeping an eye on Gunbroker.
How many variations are there in the Stevens 520 shotguns?
I notice some have the heat shield and bayonet mount and some don't
Like this one, it doesn't US Military Stevens 520-30 Combat Shotgun WWII
and This one does WWII US MILITARY STEVENS 520 TRENCH GUN SHOTGUN

About the meanest looking combat shotgun, in my opinion. Tagging so I can follow along.
I have a repro I started putting together. Norinco heat shield on a 520 (not 520A..so a double hump). Just need to cut the barrel down and even out the finishes.
Might have to just sell it if it’s still sitting half finished in another couple years haha.

So, some are the trench gun and others are the riot gun...you really need to get the books and consume them. This one for instance. I have a hard cover and a soft cover... Don't need the soft cover now.
