Looking for a parts source for a Sante Fe Jungle Carbine.
I have a customer's rifle that is a Golden State Arms, Sante Fe rifle originally a GR produced rifle which seems to have been modified by GSA. It is in need of a rear sight. I would appreciate any assistance in any additional information on this rifle and/or a parts source.

The rifle started life as a BSA No I Mk III in 1917. It's a shame it was butchered into whatever it is now from a WWI veteran. Numrich doesn't even have a listing for Golden State Arms. Finding that isn't going to be easy unless it's a standard No 4 rear sight.

We did a thread here a few years back and had one displayed. The rear sight looks like it MIGHT have been pilfered from a #4 rifle...double flip sight. The simple ones from the emergency time in the late war...see thread and the attached pic... https://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=25754

Do a search and you will find some data on these GSA rifles on the forum. Usually well made rifles and collectable in their own right.

BAR is correct. They are a modified Mk.2 flip sight from a No.4. The screw is the hard part but I'm guessing an SMLE sear screw might be the answer.

Thanks
I appreciate all the insight from the knowledge base on this forum. I will start my search for a MKII rear sight from a No4 rifle and also try the SMLE sear screw. Thanks again
