A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. No mention as to it being "original, genuine, real, WWII GI issued, 65 years old" or any other thing that would indicate it's authenticity! And there is the typical George; if you don't like how I do business or my terms, "F off" statement in the listing. Fools, fools I say!

I looked through his customer satisfaction ratings, amazing that there were so many posted at nearly the same time by the same user name, isn't it? Thank God we have a group of knowledgeable people around on the carbines to warn people off the parts humpers. Had I not found posts like Bill's, and a bevy of other long time collectors of carbines, I'd have gotten hosed by many of these thieves. Thanks guys!
