After a While...Argie at the Range
After a couple months, I went back to the range with rifles.
Shot 15 rounds with my SMELLY, then went to the Argentinian Mauser.
First shot was an incredible bullseye.
On the second target, I could put 4 of the first 5 rounds very close, less than 35 mm diameter, the last one was a bullseye.
Tough day for shooting, since at that time the sun moves through leaves and branches and I had the target always with changing light.
But still fair shooting in my humble opinion.
I was surprised by the No. 1 shooting to the right and the Argie, initially, to the left, but I guess it was the light. They are both well zeroed.
I had two rounds hard to load in the SMLE and they both landed low.
The cases were then showing a fracture at the usual height, approximately 1” above the rim.

Thanks. A great way to spend time out-of-doors.
