Wow, considering where he got it from its in pristine shape, hell I have seen what they have over there and they are for the most part pretty sorry looking guns.

Hi Rick, I made it over here too. Too many IDs on too many forums......need to consolidate it down to one.
NICE P-14. I only have a Eddystone, but I really like the fatboy stock on them. They and the M1917 are actually my favorite milsurp bolt actions to shoot.

The closest I came to buying a P1914 was at a gunshow about 6 years ago. I nice Winchester for $200. Unfortunately, I had just made a "heavy" purchase a couple of weeks previously and had to pass. I still dream about that rifle!!

Last week I traded a RE P14 with a Model of 1917 stock. The hand guards had red paint inside the rivet holes. Nothing much matched, but was an excellent shooter.
