1933 Trials T
If anyone is interested there is currently a very nice 1933 dated trials 4T, minus its scope on Gunbroker at the moment.

That is a nice rifle - is there a reasonably pain-free way of getting it to the UK?

I purchased the 1933 trials rifle in a US auction and featured on this forum back in April. That rifle is due to hit the UK any day now via the much appreciated help of a US forum member and Brian Dick.
It has been a reasonably pain free experience, just time consuming. The US side seemed to grind at a slow pace.
The rifle currently up for auction looks to have had its rear sight replaced with a Savage sight along with the mag which from the pics also looks to have the Savage stamp. If your serious about buying I would be asking for a few more pics and if the number on the woodwork is matching.

Promo, as previously mentioned here in thread #3 I have already made a significant purchase of a 1933 trials which was discussed at length on this forum back in April. That rifle has only just reached the UK and I'm hoping to lay my hands on it for the first time next week. If I wasn't already committed to my current purchase and if I had an open cheque book that rifle would be mine!!

I would say it was at some point in its life or was in the process of being one, look at the pic of the left side of the body, outline of the rear pad holes and the bracket screw hole, hard to say if the holes were filled in and welded.... but no outline of the front pad holes.
