A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Your gunna have to troll e-bay forever chances are it will take you a while and cost you plenty it may start at around $75/Au+ but that may be a very conservative price the screws are @$9/Au
The cut off was discontinued I think by about the middle 1916 (My early 1916 Lithgowicon has the cut off mounted) they then reintroduced it for a short while in Aus early in WWII production then dropped permanently, so unless you want it for just single load whilst having a full mag its not part of that years makeup for a Lithgow MKIII others may correct me if I have erred, as I am here to learn also.

My 1940 No1 Nk 3 Lithy has all the machining for the cutoff, I think 1940 was the last of the Mk3 no star. Nice to know my cutoff screw has increased in value form 15 cents to $9 I should have purchased a box instead of 1 at the time they were clearing out the Ordnance Stores.
