Unusual M7 Grenade Launcher?
Hello Gents, need some info on this one if possible. I just picked up a Knapp-Monarch M7 Grenade Launcher adapter, and it has what appears to be an adjustable poppet valve stud. It is threaded with a knurled turning wheel that allows it to go back and forth. All the other M7's I have seen, and can find pictures of, have a solid non movable poppet valve drepression stud. Has any of you sen this before and can anyone shed some light on its time frame of manufacture? Was this some sort of pre M7A1 experiment?
Thanks for any help
Semper Fi, Rob

Hope this helps.

Thank You Gentleman, I was pretty sure Mr. Ricca would have the answer. Any chance that you know which military did the field modification??
