This is an isued rifle, so there are already a few dings in it, but for an issued M39 it's pretty good. Th receiver and other exposed metal has a pleasant amount of wear on it without being excessive. I really like this M39 - even more than my unissued examples.
Which Sako you got inbound? M39? Straight or PG stock?
I should warn you - if it's the other straight gripped M39 at CS, it's not correct. Probably a post-war refurb that got a leftover straight stock and got re-issued for training or something like that, but hte s/n falls well outside the proper range for an original Straight gripped stock 41 Sako.
Serial should be less than 207000.

It's not quite as nice as yours, pistol grip post war stock.....just your run of the mill 1942 sako, it doesn't look like the metal was refurbished, just dropped into a newer stock.
Only reason I bought it, because I like the way the M39's shoot.....Now I can leave my other one at home and shoot the crap outta the sako.

Sounds like it'll be a fun little M39
I wonder what happened to CS's remaining inventory of M39's? I notice they were removed from the the website over the last coupla weeks...?
Wonder if they still have any of them in stock?
