This is one where I would take a chance with mail order. Store gets picked over very quickly. The WRA Field Grades were real dogs at the South Store in August.

Do you mean taking a chance with a field grade or service grade?

Ive seen the FG WRA's first hand at the South Store, if iwas going to order one I would only take a chance on a Service Grade. From reports on the CMPicon Board, seems very few WRA parts and alot of new wood, overall good reports on the SG WRA. The few reports of WRA Barrels almost make it worth the risk for me.

I too went to south store and agree the WRAs were bad. I ordered two field grades and they were better but no WRA parts. the stocks are older but not marked so I'm not sure what they are. nice oiled old wood though. my 1239121 came with a IHC bolt and the other one had a Sa-12 so I swapped it with my 42 SA that came with a WRA bolt. I keept records so it can all be put back if need be.
