Yep, basically a Chief Warrant handed it to me one day and asked me if I had a use for it, "Of course I do" was my reply . People have made offers on it but I decline, it works very nicely on the FAL.

The little KOWA telescope you have tghere looks suspiciously like the issue spotting scope for out L96 and 115 sniper rifles. Did you 'liberate' tyhat from the Brits there? Good telescope although we used to lock the ocular housing on ours down to - I seem to recall - x20. I don't think that we had any real problems with them except the eye rings used to crack but they were available as spares.

Welcome aboard, I have had an stg58 in the past, a very nicely built and finished fal, superior to the Belgian standard production rifle in build quality my opinion.
