No4 T and Accuracy International AWSM and Sako TRG 42,s
I have just purchased a No4T BSA with a No32 Mk3 scope......all matching but for the scope itself.
One of my hobbies is long distance shooting, i use an Accuracy International AWSM .338 Lapua with a Schmidt and Bender 12-50 PMII Scope .....a superbly accurate rifle.
My two friends use Sako TRG 42,s also in 338 Lapua......again superbly accurate.
Today we did some shooting with the .338,s but took the No4 T along. I put together a load using 41gr Reloader 15 and 174 HPBT Match Sierras. The results seem very promising.
Sub MOA at 117mtrs , and around 1 MOA at 180mtrs...... After using optics of 50x on the AWSM the 3x of the No32 is a real shock to the system!!!!
But , all in all very happy with the old "Relic" as my friends call it....

Hi PScott,
You have a fine 'Stable' of firearms there. I love the first group of the No4 T proving the older rifles can still hold there own.
Cheers for now.......

Yep , the "old" No4 T is still as enjoyable to shoot as the modern day sniper rifles.
Achieving good groups with the "No4 T is in some ways more rewarding than the groups obtained by rifles such as my AI and the TRG,s.....even though the latter are capable of extreme accuracy.
