Early Atchisson .22 conversion kit
I have an Atchisson conversion unit made by MAC , not the later Ciener versions. The buffer has deteriorated/disintegrated from age. Does anyone know if replacement parts are available?
Thanks,

Early Atchisson .22 conversion
I had the same problem years ago.I think that they were some sort of cork material. I ordered two of the buffers from Numrich. At that time, they had spare parts for the Atchisson unit. The "new" buffers that I received were old and dried out. The one I touched crumbled in my hand. Numrich told me that those were the best that they had. I wound up making my own buffer out of thick leather. I don't think that anyone sells spare parts for the Atchisson unit. The magazine is fragile, and I wasn't able to find a spare one. The magazines do not interchange between the different types of conversion units. I sold my Atchisson to a collector and eventually bought a dedicated upper from Accuracy Speaks. Hope this helps. Regards, Johnny Lawson
