    Talking Fido

Has anyone else seen the TV ads for the new '50's-era zombie movie, "Fido"?

It's just a quick cut in the ad but I'm pretty sure it shows a clean-cut homeowner whacking a zombie with a No. 4. That makes sense as I think it's a Canadianicon production. And it stars Carrie Ann Moss.

There's only one thing better than a dead zombie, a zombie that was made dead by a Lee Enfield! And just to top it off, I hope the No4 dude gets the chicky-babe! The last bloke Carrie Ann Moss got tangled up with in a movie was a full-auto nut that spent most of his time fighting with an aussie! "Ah, we meet again Mr Anderson...."

Hmmm, did find this promo pic. It's not the No4 I thought I saw, but it is a milsurp.

    Looks to be an 03-A3

That would make sense if the film was made in the good old USAicon.

Actually, it's a refurbished Springfield M1903 with a scant stock and no finger grooves. Hard to tell in that pic but the rear sight base looks undished, making it a 1940's era Remington (pre-1903A3).
