I've just started collecting Johnsons and have five so far. Two Winfield sporters, One "V" model, and two in original Military configuration. The prices are all over the place and condition of course dictates price. To answer your question....lately I've seen nice Winfield sporters bringing anywhere from $2000.00 up to $4000.00 With the average price probably about $3200.00 ..........other's opinions may vary. Keep checking Gunbroker and soon you'll get a feel of what the ones that actually sell, go for. Asking price is one thing....selling price is another.
