    Yeah, im a hopeless collector of not only military, but also nostalgia, coin op, etc. Our house is kinda like walking around in a museum everyone says. Lol

    The cap piece appears to be silver, which is incorrect for AAC/AAF. If silver it is USAF, but may be original to the cap.

    It does look silver in the pic, but it is/was gold. It's very faded and the finish it pretty worn off.

    Yeh, my kids are always telling me, "Dad, your old school!!!". And I just reply "Thanks.." lol.. But the grand kids love it at least. I have a collection of vintage gumball machines, and they are always full so when the grand kids come over, they have a field day. Reminds me when I was a kid and hung out at the gum ball machines when my mom was grocery shopping..
