I believe that your bolt has been modified by fitting a spring in the rear to reduce the possibility of slam fires occuring. There are some m-1 smiths that do this.

The barrel markings you posted is an import stamping and has nothing to do with who made the barrel. The barrel could still be USGI. What other markings are on the barrel? Look at the top (what would be under the rear handguard) and on the right side (where the op rod would be).

The M1 is not mine I was cleaning it and looking it over for someone. But I didn't see any other markings on it. The markings on the barrel were right where the normal markings would be.

The spring loaded firing pins were a commercial modification for use in .308 / 7.62mm NATO chambering. There was a rash of 'slam fires' with commercial ammo with their more sensitive primers. The firing pin mod seemed to do the job!..
