Helo,
Im the proud new owner of a Yugo Mauser and id like someone to help me with the history if possible. All the metal parts have matching numbers. Im sorry the pic quality is poor (see attachment)
Main thing of note is it has the turned down bolt but no cut away. Store had it listed as a K98 - 24/47 Yugo contract rifle??
The crest on the top of the receiver has been rubbed away. You can clearly see that something used to be there but cant see what it was. most square in shape with slightly rounded edge too the top. I take it its just the Yugo crest? Has metal but plate with slight cutaway near the top.
They also had a lovely 24/47 with a laminate stock and straight bolt but im a sucker for the turn down really. Just more visually appealing.
Would love any feedback from the awful pics. Im a mauser newbie.Information
