480 code walther p38s
I just want to know a bit more about the walther p38s with the 480 code. I know that they were only made for two months by Walther before they switched to the AC code but not much else. I was also wondering what the value would be for one of these compared to any other p38. I found one that has all matching numbers except for the frame but the frame is also a 480 code. does the fact that the number on the frame doesn't match greatly hurt the value even though it is a 480 code? It isn't in the best shape but I have certainly seen much worse.
-Thanks

Yes, the mismatched parts definately hurt the value as does the condition!
What you have found is a "Shooter", it has NO collector value!
