Restoring a Swede M1894/14
Hello,
I have a sporterised Swede 1894/14 that has it's wood cut down and the stock disk scrubbed. I have managed through months of effort to locate and am in the final stages of importing an M1894/14 stock. It has no stock disk, so I will swap the one from the sporter. I have an 1894/14 bayonet in excellent condition that I will have with the carbine. Hopefully the stock will arrive soon. I look forward to sharing pictures. Is there anything I should look out for, or should note about the stock and barreled action mating?
Btw, does anyone have a marked M1894 or M1894/14 stock disk? It would really complete the carbine.
Thanks for looking,
Drachenblut
