where to find a taller front sight
I have a no4mk1 made in 1948. the gun shoots extremely well except at 50 yds it is hitting high. around 6" too high I want to bring it down some. with that I believe with the right calculations I need a sight that is .095 higher. which might be unobtainable. I have looked and cannot find anything via google search. can anyone point me in the right direction in which to purchase one that is the highest made?

There is a Mk5 Sten gun blade that is .090" or you could get a later foresight block band marked 1H on the rear sloping surface. I won't go into the why's and wherefores about why these higher block bands exist, but they do. Maybe someone who is a computer whizz kid can resurrect the article. Try BDL in the US or Fultons in the UK for a Sten foresight blade
