Sparkbrook Help
Greetings All
I need the help of the masses as I am helping a gentleman at the Birmingham Gun Museum. Does anyone have a Sparkbrook SMLE Cond II that was converted in 1903 or 1905? The only one's I have seen have been 1904's.
Second, I know Sparkbrook did make some SMLE Mk I*'s before BSA's take over and the markings became BSA-Sparkbrook, but does any one have a Sparkbrook SMLE Cond II* from 1906?
Photographic proof would be awesome.
Thanks!!!

I know this is not what you asked for Lance, but it's the closest I can come.

Thanks for looking. I have been pouring through all me Enfield books and the web looking for a Sparkbrook converted SMLE ConD II or II* with 1903, 1905, 1906 dates but have come up empty. It appears they only did the one run in 1904.
Nice BSA-Sparkbrook!! I have it sister. Has anyone ever kept track of the BSA-Spark s/n range (P-Q) to estimate production numbers?

Verily, Sirs..... I WEEP!
I spent a lot of years just looking for ANYTHING with that magical name on it, finally got a sportered Navy LE Mark I..... and they are as common as mud compared to what you are showing.
Nice part is that another showed up here, stripped, also a Navy and with the barrel chopped back to 25 inches. I'm gonna have a HB SMLE, one way or another!
