P14 mismatch bolt - question.
I just scored a P14 with Ok wood but great finish and mint bore, lots of cosmo still in the nooks and crannys and really looking to all intents and purposes unfired since a refurb at Weedons. EXCEPT the bolt. Bolt is worn to hell and generally grim and obviously has seen significant useage. I'm familiar with the headspace alarms out there for 'normal' Lee Enfield (No.1s / No.4s) but not at all with the P14. is there anything I should watch / check for? Would I be better off, as this is a mismatch anyway, of simply trying to find a P14 bolt in great condition on ePay or something?
Advice please

You could certainly check the headspace.
If the bolt is really out of place, I suppose it could be replaced, although once again headspace should be checked, as well as lug contact.

Should I use the 303 headspace gauges for teh No.1 / No.4 or are they specific to the rifles as opposed to the caliber? I think i'll change the bolt out anyhoo, as this look so worn it's more likely to be compromised.

For what it's worth, the bolt might LOOK worn but it might fit correctly and CHS up correctly too. So why think about changing it for another (that might not fit or CHS up correctly) before you've checked the body fit and CHS. If it ain't broke, don't fix it is what I and the rest of the worlds Armourers always say.
If it does fit and CHS up, just have it commercially refinished

Sorry just to be clear, is CHS acronym for Check Head Space? it seems logical. The bolt body it is physically worn down in areas but I shall check before doing anything.

JUST IN CASE. Does anyone have a schematic / diagram of the entire bolt assembly and details of stripping and rebuild for the P14?
