looking for a SA 1933 dated 1903 barrel shot out
I am looking to locate a SA 1903 barrel that is dated 1933 that has been shot out. I need a good rear sight collar from that barrel to replace a damaged rear sight collar on my 1933 dated 03. Thank you

I didn't know the 1933's were any different from the rest of the later RSFB's. Are they? What is the difference since I onviously don't know?

I say 1933 because
After my collar was removed, my index pin was in the 11 o'clock position. Most collars have the pin in the 1 o'clock position. I just need a good collar with the index pin in the 11 o'clock postion when looking at the collar from behind, James

Hello James,
Your rear sight collar is a early 03 Remington with no grooves on the sides. Just about all 03 Rem collar have the index pin at the 11:00 postion.
