Number of Swedish Mausers and a No.5 MKI Carbine
Hi folks--
Recently I picked four Swedish Mausers and a BSA No.5 MKI Lee Enfield Carbine from a local collection. The collection consisted of a Carl Gustoff 1904 M/94/14 6.5mm Carbine, a M/38 Husqvarna 6.5mm Short Rifle, an Oberndorf Mauser 1900 M/41 sniper rifle, Post war Husqvarna commercial FN Mauser 6.5mm hunting rifle plus the Lee Enfield No.5 MKI Carbine. I will say that I know nothing about the Swedish 6.5mm rifles but they were all in excellent condition so i purchased as shooters.
I would like to get your thoughts on these rifles. To keep this short I will post one rifle at a time.
First up is the 1900 Mauser M/41 sniper rifle. I highlighted some of the markings to increase the ability to see them in the photos. Any information would be deeply appreciated. I purchased the M/41 rifle for about $1,200 US dollars, the carbine M/94/14 for $700.00; the Husqvarna 1944 M/38 for $600.00 (one of the last 70 Husqvarna M/38 built); the commercial Husqvarna FN Mauser for $400.00 and the Lee Enfield No.5 MKI for $500.00. all are in excellent condition with no import markings.
Thanks
