model 1896 carbine srs check please

I have serial # 30354 carbine . I looked in Mallory`s book and found some close #`s that were issued to the rough riders . Is it possible that my carbine was issued to the rough riders and not documented ? thanks for any replies .

Yes, possible. I don't think Mallory found all the serial #s there are to be found. Someone will come along with SRS info for you.

Sorry, no luck in the SRS books listing. Closest listed is 30352 assigned to the 1st Cav.. It is in a very good neighborhood, but to date there is no way to verify one way or the other. I own one seven away from a listed 1st Cav.. John
