When I was much younger, we used to be able to buy those here in Victoria new in the grease for about $45. No shortage. Winchester was a little more. About 35 years ago...

Thanks BAR, never noted the file marks before...RA is rarer today, original than WRA here in the US?
Yours were P14's, or M1917's?

I never had the interest in 303s. I always collected the US martial arms. I also stayed away from the Winchesters in all of the different weapons, in my mind it had to be the original designer or builder or nothing. Always the oldest in the best shape. I had all the equipment to go with them too. All gone now except Springfield M1 328219.

Is that 328K Garand LL? All correct?

Yes it's LL. It's all correct down to the round firing pin (which I have set aside during firing) and the front sight seal. I cornered this rifle in the 70s before any collectors knew about them and they still don't have much in the US collectors here in Canada. Sometimes I feel I'm the only one who studies this sort of thing.
