Worth watching seems to have been left somewhere for a long time and looking a bit sad, if it sells then better lay low P L or it may find you.

Why oh why do you keep associating me with No32 sights when you know how I feel about it/them. Is it something I have said - or something I haven't said....., yet!

It would be interesting (to me anyway) if it was possible to uncover some of the story of this particular No 32, and what it went thru to end up in the condition it is now.
Looks to have few machine screws missing from index plate corners, and guess you'd want to ensure you used plenty of penetrating oil on the screw cradle points before trying to undo
- Yes, I know I probably used wrong names for the particular screws, im but a interested novice, so don't berate me to hard

Ex Indian Army without any doubt at all. Screws missing? They're probably sheared off creating another difficult hurdle to any unsuspecting restorer. Buyer beware

No, you were pretty clear...that one looks to have been a field pickup. Out in the weather yes, bet it was lost for a while.
