Smile Was out shooting my new Anschütz

    Hi to all,

yesterday i was shooting my new old Anschütz Match 54 rifle at 50 yards. Sitting position from an sandbag. Ammo was the RWS 50.
    Look what it can do.

Gunner, I suppose your not going to tell these guys that you also did this with your eyes closed. Remember, you have to be truthful to all.

Nice groups! I love my Mdl 1450, and that's just the hardware store Anschutz. I know I can't do that, but would love to try some RWS to see how she likes it.

Now you can go shoot those big jack rabbits and small deer you have over there, LOL

    Thanks loosenuts,

Yes i`m very satisfied with that rifle. The .22LR is ok for the real Rabbits but our deers are a bit to big for it. Season starts in may enough time to have training. Do you`ve been over here? Till season starts i may go hunting for the other sort of bunnys

    Regards

Gunner, what kind of sights did you use to aim at those targets? And what are they intended for? I've never seen targets like that. (OK, I know, limited experience and all that...)

    Hi Patrick,

no limited experiences from your side( I`d never believe this fact ).
The targets are special made for me.
Those targets are normaly for scope setting and ammo testing for my .308Sniper. The squared center is 40mm and the surrounding marks ( distance is 20mm ) allow me to see how many clicks i have to make til the bullet hits the bull. Any ammo wich gives shotgroups bigger than the center arent worth to shoot. For adjusting the scope those targets are very helpful for distances til 600m. The dot is 14mm and good for 100m shooting. The thickness of the lines is 5mm and made to fit for my reticle at 300m.
Do you`re shooting smallbores too? And how about BP shooting?
