    Aquila Ammo

A friend recently acquired a Kimber m82 via a private sale. He just ordered a 5000 rd case of the Aquila ammo for 189.00 from the CMPicon. I advised him to test different ammo as his weapon may or may not like that ammo. He plans to plink with it and maybe compete. Has anyone had any experience with that ammo? I hope he didn't make too much of a mistake. My Ancshutz and Kimber 82 shoot the Wolf the best.

Our gunclub has been using it for some time now. It shoots great. In both pistol and rifle. The youth club shoot it and many 40's and some 50's scores with it at 50 ft. The club is buying more. My two cents worth.

That is the ammo we use for our Junior Rifle program and we find it very acceptable for that purpose. It is as good if not better than other brands and types of .22rf that we have used over the years.

Is it the Aquila Super extra?

If so, go for it, its great. According to rimfire central site, its the old PMC Scoremaster. PMC repackaged it.

I use the Aguila Standard Velocity in my kimber, shoots like a dream. When I tested the match Aguila against the standard Aguila, I found that I would have to me a much, much, much better shot to appreciate the difference.

The Augila is as good as many of target grade ammo costing twice as much or more....Either flavor of Aguila from the CMPicon is worth its asking price...buy lots and buy it often...
