WWII Mossberg 42 M-B Lend Lease British Marked .22 LR

I have never seen one of these 42 M-B's before, its something though that I would have loved to had with only a little over 38,000 made. Too bad he won't ship to California, screwed again.....

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I love those trainers...any and all of them. I will, one day, bite the bullet and buy a 1922.
These Mossbergs are suprisingly cheap considering their rarity. How many of those original 38k do you think still exist?? $400 is what I would call "a lot" for one of these.

Anyway, there's another on GunBroker with no note against shipping to California:

Very nice looking rifles, with their Stutzen style stocks.

A lend lease trainer would be great in the collection, as long as our uncle Sam didn't demand it back!
