My NPM Restoration Project
Guys, here is how my White Bag NPM restoration project is going.
NPM - 4.22
Barrel - Underwood dated 9-43
Front site - Milled unmarked
Operating Slide - N9
Bolt - Blued flat N-14 (from Nick Dailey)
Trigger Housing - N16 Type 3
Hammer - Type 3 marked IN (from a forum member)
Sear - Type 1 marked LN (Nick Dailey)
Trigger - Type 2 marked SN (Paul Imbragulio)
Mag Catch - unmarked type 2a
Safety - Type 3 marked SN
Stock - Walnut High Wood Timble TN marked NPM/FJA with CC Cartouche
Hand Guard - Walnut 2 rivet marked very small TN
Recoil Plate - type 2 marked LN (Type 3 LN on the way)
Got this White Bagger from PBI, tell me what you think so far. I have a few more items to get, but MaMa insisted on new Living room furniture. So after going last week to the furniture Store with her and spending lots of money, I have to slow down. Remember guys, when your married for 37 yrs like me, it goes in this order. Family, Food, and Furniture, then Carbines.

Hammer can be IN or HN, says Riesch, and I know a lot of his stuff is wrong, so I'm pretty sure I asked PBI about it. Some of you guys let me know,I may have to search for a HN. All these numbers drive me crazy.

Scott, you are right on Trigger Housing. Guess I got to writing too fast. I Catelogued all of my carbines on same day, eyes hurt. And the Mag catch is one I stuck in there. PBI has the correct one on hold to me a type MN.

Ok, Brian thanks. Thats what I'll start looking for. And to answer Faulkner's question, I have the trigger housing that came off of the White Bagger, takes about 3 minutes to switch and the slide and Poof its bag to White Bag configuration. So in effect I can have it both ways in 5 minutes, any way I want it. The best of both worlds.
