    Question VZ-58 Question?

Bought a beautyful mint new CZ VZ-58 in feb. and love it better than any AK! researched the net and found out from some of our Canadianicon members, that you all have had those available for a long time! I wonder who come, since from what i hear you all can own those, but not any AKs.
I find that really strange and just wondered!
the only thing i dont like about them is the fact, the ones imported here have bay. lug cut as well as having a 1/2 in. extension welded to muzzle,
since here if barrel is less than 16 in. have to pay $200. tax and register it as an SBR! Oh well, cant have it all!

Yes, it is really strange. Canadianicon gun laws make very little sense.

AK's are prohibited by name here, VZ's are not. As long as the VZ's were manufactured as semi-auto rifles they can be imported and used.
