    Ljungman AG42B Question

I just picked up a 1943 one . It looks to be in good condition .It also came with cleaning kit, original sling, and four magazines . Bonus One problem is on the gas port sleave . The part attached to the action/slide is all chewed up with jagged edges all around. My question is, can I fire this firearm in this condition? The sleeve in no way binds or harms gas port. It still surrounds it,but in a jagged way. I think I would have to replace the whole slide to fix this problem. Anyone know where these can be found (preferably in Canadaicon) Thanks and GDay
