M1-d
Any have any idea what kind of price range would be appropriate for an M1-D that has an import mark on the barrel? Gun looks to be correct, including the properly marked barrel. M84 scope is in good shape, optics are very clear. Gun does not come with any flash hider. Any info you can provide me would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

This has been asked several times, and I think each time the best answer is that it is worth the value of the sum of the parts.
Naturally having a scope is important, the leather cheek piece(?), and the flash hider is important too. A GI prong type flash hider is in the $100 range, the cone type flash hider is in the $300 range.
If you are trying to buy, I would say in the $2K range. If trying to sell, I might ask $2500. But hey, I am not an expert on the M1-D. Have handled a couple.
I am always lower when I estimate prices.

0311Shooter,
Thanks for the reply. The gun does have the leather cheek pad that looks to be correct. Need to do some additional research on the gun before I decide whether or not to purchase.
Thanks,
Steve

What does the importer mark say?
There are "imported" M1Ds that are known to be the real thing. Who is the importer?

Rotorwing,
Imported by National Ordnance, El S Ca
Talked to a few others about this gun. They all seem to agree that it is a correct gun that was returned.
Thanks,
Steve
