Just Want To Say Hi To You Surplus Collectors
...who is speaking is an Italian American (US Born, raised in Rome - IT) and moved back to the US a few years ago (San Diego, CA).
I just fell back into a fervent passion for surplus guns - particularly WWII.
I went nuts studying all over again WWII (Italian, German, Allied). I know my former nation owes everything to my good, old and beloved America.
Bought a few Carcanos just in a week. This is one and wanted to post a couple of images here.
The backpack is mine - in the sense that, I served in Italy with it in 1990 (drafted, mandatory conscription at the time). I was stunned to find out that it was the same pattern as at least some of the fascist era ones (laughs).
Ciao you all!
This one is in 8mm, much likely with fake markings and all - still love it.
