A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Ain't it the truth, Calfed! It plays havoc on my senility -

There's been times when I see your handle and do a double-take while I'm scanning through my assigned threads and think to myself, 'I don't remember being here before"

The first couple of times when someone got mixed up and called me calfed when our motley crew first came over and invaded the peaceful environment here when Joustericon crashed, I thought they were being 'cutesie' with my handle! It took me a little while to figure out who you were and what was going on.

Honestly, I'd rather just use my first name but don't think it's possible because it would mess up the database. I used CAFDFW for many years when I was on aviation forums and just carried it over for every forum so I didn't look like I had multiple personality disorder.

I think I'll email Doug and see if it's possible, but I bet it's an involved process.

    ~ Harlan
