    Enforcer barrels

    Are Enforcer barrels hammer forged or lathe turned or was there a transition date? Any one know the cut off date when the barrel change occurred? Ron

    Went on Mark Stevens website and found the following;

    1) original specification called for a 27.5" long heavy barrel, 4 groove, 1 in 12 twist...I'm assuming it's hammer forged like the Envoy and L42 barrels?
    2) design was changed at sometime in the manufacturing cycle to "reduce bullet drag" ....barrel was lathe turned, 6 groove chordial, 1 in 12 twist, step about an 1" beyond the forend..so states in the RSAF sales brochure on Stevens site. Anybody know when this change occurred?
    3) which barrels were installed on the Charnwood assembled Enforcers?

    Would appreciate some help on this...Thanks, Ron
