Marking on plastic grip
On an Ithaca 1911A1 (SA rebuild) one grip (stock) is a regular Keyes with star and mold #. The other one looks the same on the outside, but instead of a Star K, there is what looks like a plus sign comprised of LOC across and NOR down. Any idea who made these and what time frame?

The grip was made by Nor Loc and are post WWII replacements. I have no idea what the crossed NOR LOC stood for.

Thanks Johnny. According to Clawson, this Ithaca was shipped Jun 28, 1944 to Army Air Base, Kearney Nebraska. Do you know what time period SA was doing rebuilds? The internal parts look new but the pistol has been reparked.

As far as I know Springfield was doing rebuilds right up to the time they closed the doors in 1968.
