    no5 forend cap

    which is the correct cap to use to make a cap for my 5/47 no5 thanks

    You need a closed end at front...the left hand cap.

    there is more to it than that - a dedicated nose cap is required. I've got a couple - where are you based?

    Far more to it. If you get his spare you're good. Peter Laidlericon spoke of removing them and tiddling up the forend without the cap.
