Like New Garand prepared for Vietnam issue.

This Garand is the closest I have had to brand new!

In the late 60's several US Arsenals were refitting/preparing Garands to make them as new, and put them in cardboard boxes with an Imperial made Bayonet in preparation of shipping them to the ARVN. ( South Vietnam)

This one did not go to Vietnam, but ended up in Canadaicon not long after.
It was prepared at Aniston in 1969. I wish I had the cardboard box, but I do have the unissued bayonet with it! The rifle is late Springfield with the original January 1954 barrel in awesome condition.

The cost is $1300 including shipping to provinces.

please PM me for lots of detailed pics if you want a superb Garand!
Regards,
Badger
