    Kar98a help

    Guys, I need some help. I need a Kar98a handguard. I have contacted Springfield Sporters but no luck. This the WWI small ring Mauser. Not sure who has one. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks guys.

    I have never used them but if you cant find one maybe these guys will make you one. They make the whole stock set up for a Kar98a

    PPHU Fox - Wooden gun stocks

    Have you tried ebay? They do show up every now and then.

    I was about one week away from ordering a complete stock from PPHU Fox when one came up on ebay. I would think they would sell just the handguard if you asked. If you want original, ebay is the way to go. Might take years but it will eventually happen.



    I actually got pretty lucky with this one. I think I watched ebay for somewhere between one and two months after I bought the rifle. I had watched the rifle at the gun shop for six months before offering him a lowball figure which he took because it had sat there for six months.
