Winchester bolt
here goes another newby question. Would my Wichester SN 57276XX come with a flat or round bolt ? It came from CMP
with a EM-Q flat bolt so maybe that indicates something but doubt it does. Also here is a picture of me in Laos 1961 ,carbine leaning on the shack

Thanks for your help
Russ

I have WRA 5,573 and 5,811 both with Flat bolts. But have seen many in the 5,7 range with round bolt.
This was near the transition point. Round bolts were being installed as they became available.

Thanks for the info, I have a complete winchester round bolt, not real new looking but it came in an IBM mixmaster that I bought for$125 at a discount store but I dont have go nogo guages and would be hesitant to instal it and fire . The IBM also had a nice Winchester slide so I am down too a trigger housing, a sear , a mag catch and a handguard.
Thanks again Russ
