they refinish okay with just a little BLO at a time for a few weeks. i tried that fartenhiemer stuff the CMP advertises but wasn't impressed. if the stock done wit BLO is a little too shiney,



i just go over it with a little 0000 steel wool

Those look good.

I have some boiled linseed oil in a gallon metal can. From the looks of the can and the pictures on it I would say it's from the 50s. I've used it on a few times and I haven't had anything turn out that nice. You must have put a lot of work into those two.

Why the middle school behavior towards Fairtrimmer's stuff? And CMP doesn't advertise it, it is on their trader board just like it would be here on the Jouster trader boards. If it was "advertised" then it would be on their sales page or in their e-store.
