Part ID Extractor?

Wasn't sure if this is the correct forum to ask for a part ID, but I'm trying to figure out what this belongs to. I found it in a parts lot of Garand and Carbine parts. Should I try a different forum? Thanks for any info.[IMG]

In actual fact it will fit ALL models of the Thompson SMG from the Model of 1921 to the M1A1.The progression being.Model of 1921.Model of 1927(SA only)Model of 1928 and M1928A1,M1 and lastly M1A1.

I could use at least ONE spare for my Model of 1928 if you are of a mind to sell one.

Because the photo indicated that the extractor was parkerized, I did not include the Colt 1921

So long as they WORK the finish is of no importance.I think that they are a good spare to have along with a few spring sets and ejectors.

If a person can afford to own a Colt 1921 - I do not think they would want to have a WW2 Savage extractor in their weapon. It is kind of like installing a 1903A3 bolt in a pre WW1 Springfield 1903 rifle -

All I have is an early Savage Built Model of 1928 overstruck with a US in front of and A1 after the original roll stamping.GEG etc all there too and is early enough to have the"TOMMY GUN" along the top lip on the RIGHT hand side of the receiver.

I have owned a COLT Model of 1921 US Navy overstrike to Model of 1928 and if you want to come to Vancouver I can SHOW you a MATCHED pair of Colt M1927's TOTALLY unfiddled with too.Dumbest thing I ever did was to yell at George Numrich when he sent me a REALLY LATE M1928A1 that came from Ossining Pen with it's ORIGINAL smooth barrel(with Cutts Comp) smooth actuator.Flat "L" Lyman rear sight and transverse buttstock screw and plates.Also had M1/M1A1 style PEG safety and rocker trip and a flat mag catch(M1A1 usually; won't lock into a drum)I figured that he had shorted me when I wanted fins and Lyman adjustable etc.Mind you I was only 18 so what did I know ?

Ever seen a M1A1 modified to take a DRUM ?I really jumped when I saw that one.Dominican Republic 1962.How about a BRAND NEW TURKISH made M1A1 ?(Kirikkale)

A very close friend here owns FOUR Model of 1921's by the way.They ARE out there.
