My FN-49 (also all i have seen) came with a aperature peep type rear sight. Why would you be looking for an aftermarket one I am sure Mojo would not make one just like there would be no need for one on a M1 Garand. I had a MOJO sight on a M/39 Mosin and took it back off the first day. A peep sight mounted foreward of the action is worthless IMHO. It's just to far from your eye to be effective like it is on the FN-49 or Garand rifles.

I don't have an FN-49, I have a SAFN-49 which has a crappy ladder arrangement. I am pondering building a base for a lyman style sight I have and putting it to the rear and then building a front sight system to accommodate. The gun I have is a toy, not a serious collector, but, it shoots so straight with crap sights I'd like to see how it would do with something more serious-SDH
