Buttplate swivel screw?
Would a late 1944-45 WRA M1 rifles buttplate swivel screw be stepped, or straight cut? Would all WRA buttplates be marked S2, even late war?
Thankyou, Andy

I'm not too sure about the screw and although most WRA butt plates were marked 2S there were some WRA butt plates that were devoid of any markings.

Winchester long buttplate screw
The Winchester long buttplate or swivel screws that I have seen in WRA no-trap stocks were all without the step - do not have any data on later WRA stocks
