What a beautiful plane! Go
for the video Hal provided us.
My uncle was an RCAF Spitfire pilot who died in a training accident. This Spit,
Spitfire MkIa K9942, the oldest Spit that is still flyable, was on his station while he was in training. It isn't in his log book, but it's kind of nice to know that he walked by it along the flight flight line and ran his eyes over its beautiful lines. She's now at RAF Cosford Museum.

Great video! Love the sound of the Merlin engine. I'm a lucky guy; I get warbirds overhead a couple times a week out of Van Nuys, Burbank, and Chino. B25s, Mustangs, T6s, sometimes a B17 or B24 doing the money tour of the local airports. Nothing in the world like the sound of a Mustang hauling butt overhead or a B25 grinding along at low altitude.
